Did you know that Finland has more then 2700 Foundations supporting research and artistic activities? A Finnish foundation (säätiö in Finnish) is a legally independent, non-profit entity created to manage assets set aside for a specific purpose, such as supporting research, arts, culture, or social initiatives. There Finnish registered foundations, split between grant-making (approx. 400) and operational foundations (which run their own services like educational institutes and museums). The grant-awarding fundation provide support as personal grants and project-based funding. Join this event to meet the Finnish foundations representatives.
