The Head of Hull Basic Design at the Meyer Turku shipyard, Ari Niemelä, is one of the world's leading experts in ship hull design. He has developed pioneering advances that have promoted Finnish shipbuilding expertise around the globe and enabled the implementation of complex new ship concepts.
National Researcher's Profile Tool launched
Researchers can create a nationally visible profile in Research.fi portal. Profile is compiled with information transferred from organisations and ORCID service and information already transferred to Research.fi. Released in November 2022 as a beta version, the Researcher's Profile Tool was officially launched on 25 May 2023.
