Joan Lofgren: Hybrid course ensures the students can complete the course whether they are on campus or not

This academic year started in very different circumstances than usually. Joan Lofgren, the Director of the Bachelor’s Program in International Business, teaches the Global Business Environment course to first-year students at Mikkeli Campus. This year the course was delivered using a hybrid format due to the COVID-19 situation.

Nordic project to enhance circularity of textiles

Doubling the life of textiles will reduce the climate impact by 40-50%. Still most of the used textiles generated in the Nordic region is incinerated instead of being reused, remanufactured and recycled. To enhance circularity of textiles a two-year Nordic project has been initiated.

Two new Exam studios taken in use on 20th of October

Two new exam studios in Otakaari 1 M-wing , 3rd floor is now in use. OK1M321 with 8 exam workstations and OK1M327 with 9 exam workstations will increase the exam capacity to approx. 900 two hour exams/week.
