The Academy of Finland allocated 8.45 million euros for a special call to support and accelerate research into the COVID-19 epidemic. Each organisation can only submit one proposal and therefore Aalto internal deadline for expression of interest 8th April, 2020.

Statement regarding Zoom's security
The Funet Miitti (Zoom) service used by Aalto differs from the general Zoom service in that it is implemented on a Nordic basis, in accordance with Finnish law and European data protection regulations. The users in the academic community and the academic environment are better protected than the general consumer service. Clear vulnerabilities have been addressed in the new Zoom versions and all users are urged to upgrade their devices immediately.
