MFA multi-stage identification mandatory in Aalto from 8.2.2021
Additional authentication method (MFA 2FA) will be activated on 8 February 2021 for all members of the staff. In the future, you'll need additional authentication (a phone app recommended) when you sign in to Office 365 services from outside Aalto's network or from your home computer.
The ideas of the Award for Achievements in Teaching winner in distance learning will be heard at Aalto ENG's Teaching Forum on 8 March 2021
At the School of Engineering's Teaching Forum, Samuel Cross, who has just received the Award for Achievements in Teaching together with Annukka Santasalo-Aarnio, will give a presentation on “Challenge-based education in an online environment”. In February 2021, Cross and Santasalo-Aarnio were awarded the Dean’s recognition for developing challenge-based learning and co-teaching in distance education.

Welcome to the 3rd online Unite! Dialogue event, hosted by INP Grenoble
Unite! is an European University Alliance of Aalto University and 6 other high-level European technical universities. Every six months, all staff and students from the seven universities gathered within Unite! meet for a dialogue and cooperate around the various themes and activities of Unite!. The 3rd Dialogue is organized, from March 8th to 10th, by Grenoble INP - UGA in a 100% online format and offers for the 1st time, a session open to the general public.

Aalto alumni from leading strategy consulting firms share their views on Aalto’s new strategy
Overall, the alumni viewed the strategy materials as meticulously prepared and Aalto’s purpose and values as inspiring and visionary. The strategy was especially applauded for involving hundreds of people from the Aalto community in the process. The alumni also shared six potential development areas for the strategy.
