Master's Programme in Automation and Electrical Engineering

This site contains the student study guide for the Master's Programme in Automation and Electrical Engineering. Here you will find the programme curriculum as well as detailed guidelines for planning your studies. All the materials and instructions are for all the majors of the programme. If you are interested in applying to the programme, follow the link at the bottom of the site to the application page.

The programme has three majors from which students choose one:

  • Control, Robotics and Autonomous Systems
  • Electrical Power and Energy Engineering
  • Electronic and Digital Systems

The Master of Science degree consists of 120 ECTS and is recommended to be completed within two years of full-time studies. All the majors consist of 65 ECTS of studies. Master's Programme in Automation and Electrical Engineering is organized by the School of Electrical Engineering (department of Electrical Engineering and Automation).

Automation and Electrical Engineering, Master of Science (Technology)

The Master鈥檚 Programme in Automation and Electrical Engineering prepares its graduates to perform in the intersection between hardware and software, ranging from the fields of Electrical Engineering and Energy sectors to Biomedical Engineering, Control Engineering and Robotics. Drawing from extensive research and fundamental theories in mathematical and natural sciences, the programme focuses on the applicable side of technologies, including topics like Autonomous Systems, Health Technology, Smart Grids and Renewable Energy Solutions.

Tuition fees 

Tuition fee for tuition-fee students in this programme:

  • Study right started on or before 1 August 2024: 15,000 EUR / academic year
  • Study right started on or after 1 August 2025: 17,000 EUR / academic year
