Brown Bag Seminars
Physics brown bag seminars highlight exciting new results arising from the physics community at Aalto.
The Physics Brown Bag seminars are an opportunity to discuss the latest research with fellow scientists and science-minded people. Also, there's pizza!
The next seminar takes place on Friday, February 27, at noon in the Nanotalo lobby.
Presenter: Orlando José Silveira Júnior, Academy Research Fellow, Surfaces and Interfaces at the Nanoscale group
Topic: “Light at the Tip: Nanoscale Optics Beyond the Diffraction Limit”
Before the seminar, pizza is served at approximately 11.45 am.
All and everyone are welcome to join us for pizza and science!
Physics brown bag seminars highlight exciting new results arising from the physics community at Aalto.
In the SIN group we apply and develop various atomistic and quantum mechanical simulation methods to study surface and interface physics at the nanoscale, with particular emphasis on working closely with experimentalists and technologists.
