The Competent Colleagueâ„¢ online course suitable for individuals and teams who want to enhance work community skills, such as listening and asking questions, giving and receiving feedback and facing difficult issues in a team, as well as self-management skills in today's working life.
Why?
Competent colleague online course invites you as a team member to your work. You get time to stop and think about your role as a colleague and team member. As a team, you also think about how you can manage your own work and time better.
What?
The course can be done independently or together with a team. The course utilizes videos, exercises, and reflective tasks to engage participants and enhance their learning experience. It is also possible to ask a team coach to facilitate the team discussion in focusing on some theme of the course. There are support materials available to support the team discussion. The Competent Colleagueâ„¢ online course invites you to examine your work. It will give you time to stop and think about your role as a colleague and a team member. You will also reflect on how to take leadership of your own work and time to improve your own well-being at work.

For everyone who what to understand themselves better, and to actively remove barriers for inclusive environment.
Why?
Equ(al)ity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) are central to advancing employee wellbeing and success. Diversity refers to the differences between individuals who work in an organization. Equity refers to giving everyone access to equal opportunity by providing the tools they need to succeed, and inclusion means creating an environment in which all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully.
Unconscious biases can prevent organizations from being diverse, equitable and inclusive. The aims of this course are:
- To build participants’ awareness of what unconscious biases are, and how and why they are formed
- To support participants in recognizing the impact unconscious biases have on their own behaviours and in their workplaces
- To enable participants to take action to prevent the impact of unconscious biases
What?
We recommend completing five sections in the designed order. Each section contains an informative video which explains the key terminology and concepts, as well as accompanying reflection exercises which you can complete at your own pace. At the end of the course you will find a quiz to test your knowledge. In each section you can also find a list of recommended readings, which you may choose to explore in your own time after completing the training.

This short microlearning training will introduce the core skills of interaction. You will explore key principles of communication and develop concrete tools for constructive dialogue. Additionally, you will discover how to give feedback in an appreciative and supportive manner.

The main focus is on understanding status communication. By the end of the lab, you’ll have a better understanding of how you can shape every interaction in your life by using nonverbal communication more impactfully. |
