Annika Sohlman (she/her)
Sohlman is currently working on her doctoral research and she works as a part-time university teacher. Her research studies the silent meanings and the communicative effects of silence as a part of norm-critical and art educational research. In her work, she combines discursive, text-based, and arts-based research. For the year 2020-2021, the research is funded by the Finnish Culture Foundation.
Previously, she has worked as a museum pedagogue in art museums such as Amos Rex, Kiasma, Taidehalli. Sohlman has worked as a research assistant in the ArkTOP project where the art education programs of Aalto University and Lapland University collaborated.
