Welcome to the Better Business – Better Society seminar, Scaling a Startup with Scarce Resources: Case Small Giant Games!

The seminar combines academic insights with practical and proven experience from scaling a company from Finland to the global stage. The focus is on essentials of venture success: understanding your market and its dynamics, building a data-based business model, building a culture where teams are energised to perform, and systematically identifying weaknesses and fixing them. These topics are reflected in the light of entrepreneurship research as well as through the practical example of how Small Giant Games built its success.

The seminar will be held by two distinguished professionals in the field of entrepreneurship: Maija Renko, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Aalto University School of Business, and Timo Soininen, Entrepreneur, Investor and Board Member, as well as Co-Founder and Chairman of Small Giant Games.

Invitations to the live seminar will be sent to the School of Business’s partners, supporters, invited guests, and alumni. The online stream of the seminar is open to everyone.
