Designs for a Cooler Planet is annual exhibition series showcasing that sustainability does not mean making compromises or settling for something less than. It can be the most fascinating and attractive option, a novel approach to an ordinary things or ability to connect the dots in a new way. What matters is the courage to change and be bold.

Every year, exhibition highlights research-based bold, experimental and creative concepts demonstrating radical approaches that aim for transformative change.

Guided by Specialist Enni Äijälä, the tours are available for Aalto students and personnel, max. 15 participants / tour.

Open until 12 October 2022, Designs for a Cooler Planet is an annual exhibit showcasing bold designs that approach sustainability from avenues including fashion, food and materials.

The exhibition themes this year are life without a trace, sustainable style and a healthier food chain.
