Hope is something we deeply wish to see realized — but achieving it takes effort. From hope arises a self-reinforcing cycle of good: hope helps us take the first step, and action, in turn, generates more hope.

In the Marsio exhibition space, The Laboratory of Hope comes to life through sound, light art, video, text, and objects. People from across Aalto University share what hope means to them and how they are helping to build a more hopeful future: better healthcare through artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and fashion that belong to everyone, quantum materials, secrets of good life, and much, much more.

You are warmly invited to come and discover your own spark of hope!
