RESEARCH PROJECT. The Mustikkamaa pilot project, undertaken by Aalto University and the City of Helsinki, seeks to be a pioneer in circular economy construction by using materials sourced from demolition sites.

The team of the professorship of Housing Design publishes both artistic and scientific publications. The scientific publications’ focus has two main threads: housing design quality and circular construction. The artistic publications explore the intersection of design practice and theoretical study, offering insights into how architectural design utilizes architectural theory and vice versa.
