The Progress of Sisu Development in 2025

The beta phase of the Opin.fi service has ended. Thanks to more than 13,000 learners who tested the service!

Changes to fees related to applications for readmission starting from 1 January 2025
As of 1 January 2025, the fee for application handling will be 50 euros. A service break lasting about a week will occur in early January while the system is being upgraded.

New pedagogical micro course available: Quickstart for University Teaching
Welcome to the new pedagogical micro course, Quickstart for University Teaching. The course is targeted for new teachers, visiting lecturers, professors of practice and everyone interested in pedagogy. The course is available online for self-study, structured into five sequential topics, and it takes approximately two hours to complete.

The Opin.fi beta version will be closed soon.

The beta version of Opin.fi has found a good number of users: feedback can still be given before the beta version closes
Learners have quickly found the beta version of Opin.fi, which was launched in October. Since the service has reached its user and feedback targets, the beta version is potentially being shut down as early as December. The official launch of the service is expected to take place in April.

MyCourses’ features can be useful when working in courses with many students. This training is meant for teachers and teaching assistants who need scalability support and hands-on guidance on using MyCourses in their courses.
