New guideline: Aalto University Code of Academic Integrity in Studies
A new guideline, the Aalto University Code of Academic Integrity in Studies will enter into force on 1 January 2025. The code, approved by the University Academic Affairs Committee in September 2024, will replace the previous similar guideline approved in 2011, the Aalto University Code of Academic Integrity and Handling Violations thereof.

CoDaS is an international joint master’s degree programme offered by five European universities.

Fees put on all applications for return of study right; handling fee to rise in 2025
As of 1 January 2025, the fee for application handling will be 50 euros. A service break lasting about a week will occur in early January while the system is being upgraded.

Bachelor's theses in technology will be possible to publish at Aaltodoc from the beginning of year 2025
From the beginning of year 2025, the publication of all bachelor's theses in the field of technology in the Aalto university’s Aaltodoc publication archive will become possible. This change now also offers technology students the same opportunity to publish their thesis as ARTS and BIZ students already have.
