The Degree Programme Committee for Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Interior Architecture deals with the issues of the following programmes in accordance with the school's bylaws:

The Degree Programme Committee for Design deals with the issues of the following programmes in accordance with the school's bylaws:

• Muotoilun ja muodin kandidaattiohjelma, Kandidatprogrammet i design och mode, Bachelor's Programme in Design and Fashion
• Master's Programme in Design, Muotoilun maisteriohjelma, Magisterprogrammet i Design

In addition, The Degree Programme Committee for Design deals with the issues identified below regarding the majors leading to the Master of Arts degree in Aalto University's joint Master's Programme in Creative Sustainability and Master's Programme in International Design Business Management. Otherwise, the aforementioned programmes operate in accordance with their own management models decided by the president of Aalto University.

The duties of the Degree Programme Committee for Design include the following for the Master's Programme in International Design Business Management:

• to be responsible for the implementation of student admissions for the programmes study options;
• to compose and approve entrance examinations for student admissions or, when necessary, to appoint selection groups to compose and approve the examinations for the respective study options of the programmes;
• to evaluate entrance examination assignments and applications or, if necessary, to appoint selection groups to help the committee with specific study options and to make a proposal to the selection committee on the students to be selected;
• to make proposals to the academic committee about the descriptions of the courses of the programme under the organizational responsibility of the department of design

The duties of the Degree Programme Committee for Design include the following for Master’s Programme in Creative Sustainability:

• evaluate the master’s theses;
• to be responsible for the implementation of student admissions for the programmes study options;
• to compose and approve entrance examinations for student admissions or, when necessary, to appoint selection groups to compose and approve the examinations for the respective study options of the programmes;
• to evaluate entrance examination assignments and applications or, if necessary, to appoint selection groups to help the committee with specific study options and to make a proposal to the selection committee on the students to be selected
