A brand new book in Finnish on Industrial Internet

The book approaches the topic broadly guiding companies to utilise the phenomenon in practice.

Industrial internet is a hot topic. What will happen, when smart products and services are connected to the Internet? When and how should companies capture new opportunities? The book approaches the topic broadly guiding companies to utilize the phenomenon in practice. Also the digital technology from sensors to analytics is covered.

The book includes practical examples from a number of Finnish and international cases. A reader will get a comprehensive guide in searching business benefits from industrial internet and creating a company-wide road map.

The book is written in Finnish with the title "Teollisuuden internet" and will become available in August 2016. Visit to make a pre-order. 

About the authors

Jari Collin is CIO of (Stora Enso’s maintenance company) and acts as adjunct professor at Aalto University contributing to the -research project. 

Ari Saarelainen has closely followed the topic of Industrial Internet as a journalist of technology magazines. He works at Alma Media's .
