Aalto # 4 in Europe in Business Administration research

Aalto has further improved its international position in business research.

In the prestigious ShanghaiRanking, Aalto jumped up to 4th place in Europe in Business Administration research, being number one in the Nordic countries and 34th globally (up from 51-75 last year). In Management research, Aalto moved from 49th position to 36th in the world.

“The latest international rankings reflect the excellent work carried out by our researchers, whose research help us contribute to better business and a better society”, says Dean Ingmar Björkman at the School of Business. “Excellence in research also translates into further improved education for our students.”

The annual ShanghaiRankings evaluate universities in 54 subjects across different disciplines. In total, over 4000 universities were evaluated in 2018.
