Aalto Online Learning ensures high quality online learning materials for the Brazil-Finland Cultural Center

The 100% online course “Portuguese for Beginners” is designed to students who are just starting their way into the Portuguese language. The students will get familiar with the fundamentals of the language in a very immersive, contextualized way.

The short explanatory videos for the “Portuguese for Beginners” course were designed in partnership with Aalto Online Learning initiative to ensures effective ways of interaction, engagement and learning. Aalto Studios offered the video recording facilities and highly skilled staff, and Tomi Kauppinen coached and directed the session.

The course’s materials are totally authentic, created by the native Brazilian teachers of the Brazil-Finland Cultural Center. The main goal is to provide the student with a high-quality set of basic expressions and vocabulary, in order to encourage the communication in daily-life situations. The lessons explore the most up-to-date interactive tools for online teaching, provided by the Finnish platform CLANED ().

By enrolling to this course, the participant will also join the community of Portuguese speakers in Finland. The student will get invitations to cultural events organized by the Brazil-Finland Cultural Center and the Brazilian Embassy – thus having the opportunity of strengthening ties with the Brazilian culture as a bonus.
