Aalto University ranked 28th in the world among young universities
Aalto University placed 28th in the Times Higher Education 150 Under 50 ranking which compares universities under 50 years of age.
The ranking measured young universities on their teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income. The list showcases 150 universities which show great potential.
– This is great news and an international recognition of our hard work and results, says Tuula Teeri, President of Aalto University.
Times Higher Education publishes several rankings. In the more extensive THE World University Ranking, altogether 800 universities were compared last autumn, and Aalto University was ranked 251–300. The 150 Under 50 ranking applies the same performance indicators as this overall ranking though slightly modified.
