Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture is hosting its second summer school in August
An intensive, two-week summer school course will be held 6.8.-18.8.2023 at the Otaniemi campus, preceded by a pre-course symposium on 25.5.2023 and independent studies during the summer. The responsible teacher of the course is the professor of wood architecture Pekka Heikkinen, and lecturers will also arrive from the summer school partner universities. The course is designed in partnership with the partner universities: The New School: Parsons School of Design, The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Tecnol贸gico de Monterrey, Politecnico di Milano, Royal College of Art, 脡cole nationale sup茅rieure de paysage, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Delft University of Technology. 5-7 students from each school will be chosen to attend the course.
This year the summer school is open to 3rd year BA- and MA-students from the fields of architecture, urban design and planning, landscape architecture, interior architecture, engineering, bio product technology, design, 10-15 of whom will be selected to attend the course. Join us in learning about the role of forests and wood in building a more sustainable future! The summer school is free od charge for Aalto sudents.
