Aalto's Computer Science field continues its rise in the National Taiwan University (NTU) Ranking and placed 73rd this year. Aalto Chemical Engineering also remained among the world's top one hundred and Aalto's Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering programmes rank amongst the top 150. The NTU does not rank the business and arts fields, which are of great importance ÄûÃʵ¼º½.

The NTU Ranking is based on the analysis of publication and citation data included in the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science database, which emphasises volume in addition to influence. For a university such as Aalto that is specialised in various fields, field-specific rankings are more informative than general rankings. Aalto University placed 350th in the NTU's general ranking.

The National Taiwan University Ranking (NTU) is published annually on Taiwan's National Day on 10 October.
