Fond memories of Aalto
Meeting some of our exceptional alumni in India's very own 'Silicon Valley' Bangalore was both inspiring and insightful. Hearing their stories and transformative experiences at Aalto brought back fond memories and ignited enthusiasm among prospective students.
The memories of Finland remain forever etched in their hearts. Here are some standout thoughts shared by our alumni in India:
- Aalto's unique teaching methodologies empower students to build expertise in niche areas, fostering gradual but profound growth.
- Studying in Finland isn't just about earning a degree — it's a rich, life-changing journey of acquiring invaluable skills.
- The Finnish education system is renowned for its flexibility, allowing students to explore diverse interests while maintaining a perfect work-life balance.
- Winters can be challenging, but they’re just another adventure you can conquer!
+ Countless ideas exchanged and new lifelong connections formed.
Become an alumni ambassador
We want to build an active international alumni community that consists of numerous local alumni networks around the world.
In these networks, alumni ambassadors play a key role. Ambassadors, for example, organise alumni meetings, act as a contact point between the university and local alumni, and advise students who consider moving abroad for work or studies.
We encourage alumni to set up groups that will serve as a hub for networking, sharing opportunities, and organising future events and activities.
We also would like to invite fresh graduates to participate with us in student recruitment fairs, where you can tell potential students about your study experiences in Aalto and your life in Finland.
Coming up this spring
This spring we will meet alumni in Hong Kong February 23, Copenhagen March 17, Peking March 17, Shanghai March 19, Barcelona March 22, Washington DC April 9, in Bangalore & New Delhi end of April, London beginning of June... and Oulu in Finland in June! There are also plans to meet in Germany and France soon. Furthermore our alumni ambassadors will organise get-togethers around the world.
