Apply for a 2–6-month research internship in Japan!

Aalto’s Master and PhD students in the Schools of ELEC or SCI can apply for a 2–6-month internship at the National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Japan.

Master’s degree students can work either as interns or on their MSc thesis. The list of topics is announced on the website. Please note, your study right has to be valid through the entire internship.

NII covers 5,700 JPY per day as sojourn expenses (about 39,79 €/day). Interns accepted for this call should finish their internship before the end of March 2026. For guidelines and offered internship positions see .
