Business & Economics places 60th in Times Higher Education ranking

Aalto University ranks 2nd among Nordic universities

Aalto University ranked 60th globally in business & economics in the recent Times Higher Education Rankings by subject. Last year, Aalto’s ranking was 53rd. Aalto comes in 18th among European universities and 2nd among Nordic universities. Nearly 800 universities were ranked overall, and this year the first spot was shared between two US universities, Stanford and MIT.

Times Higher Education is one of the world's most important university rankings. Its general ranking uses 13 indicators to measure the performance of universities in the areas of international research, citations, teaching and research funding from companies.

The subject rankings are more relevant ÄûÃʵ¼º½ University than the general rankings, as Aalto specialises in technology, business, and art. Depending on the calculation method, there are approximately 17 000–22 000 universities in the world.
