'Driving Disruption – Envisioning the Future of Businesses' chosen as title for student conference

Aalto University School of Business to host CEMS Nordic Forum from 17 to 20 April.
CEMS Nordic Forum is an international top-level student conference.

The Aalto University School of Business is a member of CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education, an alliance of the world’s leading business schools and large corporations. Led by its chairman Juho W. Menges, the School of Business’s 18-person student team will be organising the four day CEMS Nordic Forum student conference from 17 to 20 April, with the topic for this year being Driving Disruption – Envisioning the Future of Businesses.

The conference programme includes inspiring skills seminars and workshops, networking and free time activities. The conference is the largest annual CEMS career event in the Nordic countries. A total of around 100 highly motivated and talented students have been chosen from those applying to take part, with these students coming from both Aalto University and the network’s other universities.

Participating in the conference will be business representatives from the following companies: Daimler, DHL Consulting, EY, Hilti, zeb, AlphaSights, Deloitte, E.ON Inhouse Consulting, L'Oréal, Société Générale, Unilever, Zalando, AB InBev, KONE ja Universum.

‘Nordic Forum is a splendid example of what makes up the CEMS spirit’, says Rita Järventie-Thesleff, Aalto CEMS Academic Director. ‘Already the group organising this have put in a whole year of determined and ambitious work. The event brings together CEMS students from different parts of the world to learn, engage with representatives from the business world, and meet each other. The event combines work and play in a splendid way’, Rita continues and thanks the students for their high quality and professional work that has also raised the profile of the Aalto University School of Business CEMS programme.

The event is organised annually on a rotating basis for the four Nordic CEMS universities, which are Aalto University, Copenhagen Business School, NHH – Norwegian School of Economics and Stockholm School of Economics.
