From an idea to Europe’s biggest hackathon: Junction gathered over 1300 coders to Helsinki
The coders had 48 hours to build new apps and programs in teams.

Aalto Entrepreneurship Society’s Junction hackathon was held on 25-27 November at Wanha Satama in Helsinki. Junction had over 3300 applications from over 110 countries, of which the best 1300 applicants were chosen to participate. Over the weekend, the coders had 48 hours to build new apps and programs in teams. Junction’s partners included global companies such as Skype, ESA - European Space Agency, Twitter, and Finnish success stories like Supercell, Kesko and UPM.
