Helena Kauma was awarded for her masters’ thesis as the Service study of the year 2018
The Finnish Service Alliance (FSA) awarded Helena Kauma's thesis “Value in modular healthcare service delivery process – Case type 1 diabetes care” as the Service study of the year 2018. The service study of the year is awarded to a meritorious service related study conducted in Finnish higher educational organization that has provided exemplary and in practice applicable information on the studied subject.
Helena Kauma graduated last year from the Aalto University School of Business majoring in Information and Service Management. In her thesis she studied the modular chronic care processes and their value creation using type 1 diabetes care process as a case. The masters’ thesis was conducted with the guidance of Assistant Professor Anu Bask.
