Henni Tenhunen from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management has joined the Aalto University Open Research Network as a Data Agent for the School of Science. The School of Science also has two existing Data Agents, Enrico Glerean from the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, and Richard Darst, from the Department of Computer Science.

Data Agents help researchers in their departments with matters related to research data management and take part in the activities of the wider Aalto Open Research Network. They can be contacted directly or through the researchdata@aalto.fi support address.

Data Agents also host webinars in the network's biannual open research training series. As part of the upcoming spring 2025 training series, Henni will give a talk titled RDM in Research to Business (R2B) projects. Registrations are now open. The webinar focuses specifically on R2B projects involving sensitive data and data collection in collaboration with companies. Henni will present a case example concerning a recent R2B project with a software intervention and a digital nationwide clinical trial.
