Assistant Professor Henri Weijo has been invited to become a member of the editorial review board of the Journal of Consumer Research (JCR) starting from January 2021. JCR is the leading academic journal in the field of consumer research and one of the FT50 journals, the top 50 academic business journals listed by the Financial Times.

The Journal of Consumer Research comprehensively covers research on consumer behavior, including psychology, marketing, sociology, economics, anthropology, and communications.

‘Being invited to the editorial review board of such a prestigious journal is a great honor and a big opportunity both for me personally as well as for our department. I accept this challenge with great enthusiasm’, Henri Weijo says.

Henri Weijo’s own research concentrates on consumer behavior, more specifically within the field of consumer culture theory (CCT). His current main research interests deal with consumer creativity.
