HR Director Tiia Tuomi leaves Aalto for new position

Tiia Tuomi will leave her position at Aalto University and take up her new role as HR Director at the University of Helsinki as of September 1.

She has worked at Aalto University, and its predecessor Helsinki University of Technology, in varied tasks in HR management from 2004 onwards. Since April 1, 2013, she has worked as HR Director and as a member of the Management Team at Aalto University.

-  Tiia Tuomi has conducted groundbreaking work as HR Director at Aalto University, in particular developing and implementing our Tenure Track system. I would like to warmly thank her for her considerable input in constructing our international and high-quality university, says President Tuula Teeri

- I am excited about new challenges, although it is hard to leave my great colleagues and Aalto University. As Aalto alumna, I will follow Aalto's amazing journey continuing, explains Tiia Tuomi.
