Good navigation and guidance for the visually impaired needs to be accurate, robust, continuous, multi-sensory, scalable and universal. It should also create a more safe environment for everyone to move and walk. All this can be made possible if accessibility is taken in to account.

We present various support offered to diverse learners such as courses based on autonomous language learning (ALLP), our writing and speech clinic services and the EOTO-tandem programme. Further we briefly introduce the interdisciplinary network NorDys: Nordic Network for Reading and Writing Disabilities in Higher Education
15:00 Professor Idor Svensson, Växjö/Linnéuniversitet, Psykologi: Assistive technology for students with dyslexia and reading and writing disabilities
The lecture will cover reading and writing difficulties and the use of assistive technologies. Especially in the lights of assimilate and communicate text. The presentation begins with describing what AT is and what benefits it can make. Thereafter, some completed, ongoing and upcoming projects regarding AT and students with written-language problems are described.’
