Jarkko Niittumaa appointed Service Portfolio Lead

Jarkko Niittumaa has been appointed Service Portfolio Lead as of 1 April 2018, for a three-year period.

He will report to Development Director Sirkku Linna.

Aalto University’s goal is to ensure user-friendly, clearly defined and agile service processes that optimally support Aalto University’s education and research, allowing the community to achieve outstanding results. Jarkko will have a key role in the development and deployment of uniform, efficient and user-centered service processes. New service models and practices support, for example, Aalto University's digitalization project to succeed as well as working on one integrated campus.

Jarkko has over ten years of experience in the development of user-oriented internal services in large organizations and in international operating environment. He moves ÄûÃʵ¼º½ University from Munich from the Siemens Shared Services, where he leads the global project management office and is responsible for the business continuity management.
