Joint travel service team of Aalto University schools starts at beginning of 2018

A joint travel service team for Aalto University schools will start operations from the beginning of 2018.

In January travel secretaries will be available at most service points, and personal service will be available from 9.30 - 14.00. The locations of the service points are listed below.

The joint travel service team will provide professional and customer-oriented services. From the beginning of 2018 if travel bookings are made via HRG travel plans are only required in following cases:

  • travelling to war risk area
  • the travel is connected to an international assignment
  • group travel

Travellers are still required to obtain a prior approval from their superiors as well as information on what project and from what cost centre the travel is to be paid. The financial services of the unit will help with project information, if needed.
