Karlos Artto Teacher of the Year 2022

Professor Karlos Artto has been nominated as the Teacher of the Year by the Industrial Engineering and Management students.

Professor Karlos Artto was chosen as the Teacher of the Year2022 by the Prodeko Guild. Karlos is an expert in project management and project business. His teaching focuses on developing the skills needed to manage project teams and project-based operations. 

The students described Karlos’s teaching in the following words: â€œProfessor Artto helps students learn the principles of project management in a very approachable way. His teaching is people-oriented and entertaining, and he has invested a lot in teaching even the management of complex projects understandably and clearly".

Warmest congratulations to Karlos on the Teacher of the Year 2022 award! The recognition is based on his long-term commitment to fostering new generations of project management experts and developing project management knowledge at Aalto University. Also, this award is an indication of his desire and phenomenal ability to advance higher education on the subject.

Master of Arts student, Suthasinee Naktnasukanjn (Sine), has won the Unite! artefact competition with her artwork ‘Blooming Beyond Borders’. The piece now hangs permanently in the Undergraduate Centre.
