Message to users of the restaurants in Open Innovation House and T-building

New practices in the cafeterias of the T-building and OIH.

Students and staff of Pohjois-Tapiola upper secondary school, which is currently situated in the Open Innovation House (Maarintie 6), have had lunch at the Sodexo restaurant in T-building since the beginning of this term. However, the restaurant is too small for the current number of customers. The high number of customers has caused queueing and overcrowding, which has had an effect on the comfort of the restaurant and the opportunities to have lunch within the timeframe set.

To improve the lunch experience, we have made some changes to restaurant arrangements. Students of Pohjois-Tapiola upper secondary school will have lunch in the facilities of the Open Innovation House (OIH) starting from Monday 4 September. During the week starting on 28 August, a serving line, restaurant tables and other equipment will be installed in the OIH café and restaurant in order to have a sufficient number of seats. This will probably affect the use of the restaurant for a few days. The café continues to serve a soup lunch and other snacks.

The OIH serving line can also be used by other customers, and lunch will be available at staff prices (EUR 5.80).
Please send all feedback and development ideas to info-acre@aalto.fi.

Kind regards, Aalto CRE
