New professors appointed to Electrical Systems

D.Sc. (Tech.) Simo Särkkä and D.Sc. (Tech.) Ilkka Laakso have been appointed at Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation

D.Sc. (Tech.) Simo Särkkä has been appointed Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation from 1 June 2015 to 31 May 2020. His field of expertise as an Associate Professor will be in Electrical Engineering, embedded systems in health technology.

Särkkä has worked as an Academy Research Fellow at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, School of Science.

D.Sc. (Tech.) Ilkka Laakso has been appointed Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2018. His field of expertise as an Assistant Professor will be in Electrical Engineering, embedded systems in health technology.

Laakso has worked as a Research Associate Professor at Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan.
