New research and education in the field of urban studies and engineering discussed at Living+ morning coffee

A cross-disciplinary group of researchers and professors met on March 5th at the Living+ Hub. They discussed new research and educational initiatives undertaken in the field of urban studies and engineering. The Living+ Platform continues to organize events on topics related to human-centered living environments.

Fifteen researchers and professors met on March 5th in the Living+ Hub. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss new research and educational initiatives undertaken in the field of Urban studies and engineering. The participants formed a diverse group representing various fields of engineering and architecture.

The event was organized as a relaxed morning coffee, which provided the opportunity to build connections and discover new cross-disciplinary research interests related to urban studies and engineering. The Living+ Platform will continue to organize events on different topics relevant to the study and development of human-centred living environments.

A rap algorithm led him to research language models at Google DeepMind – now Eric Malmi returns ÄûÃʵ¼º½ as an adjunct professor

Eric Malmi received his PhD from Aalto University in 2018 with a dissertation that developed AI methods for linking historical records and family trees. At Google DeepMind he has developed Gemini language models and a chess AI. He returned to his alma mater because of ELLIS Institute Finland.
