Northern European Prime Ministers Discuss Economic Growth

The Northern Future Forum was organised on Aalto University’s premises

Prime Minister Alexander Stubb hosted the Northern Future Forum on 7 November 2014 in the premises of the Startup Sauna business accelerator on Aalto University’s campus. Alongside Mr. Stubb, the seminar was attended by eight Prime Ministers from the Nordic Countries, the Baltic States and the United Kingdom.

At the event, the Prime Ministers discussed such topics as competitive education and how to boost economic growth with Aalto University’s experts.

President Tuula Teeri warmly welcomed the participants ÄûÃʵ¼º½ University.

‘The topics of this Northern Future Forum are closely related ÄûÃʵ¼º½ University's key themes,’ President Teeri said.

The importance of the discussions was reflected by the fact that all the guests were able to attend regardless of their busy schedules.

‘We came here because Aalto University is a major university. In the future, the Startup Sauna will, in turn, be Northern Europe's and indeed the entire world's most exciting concentration of startups,’ praised Prime Minister Stubb in his opening comment.
