Otaparkki offers smooth parking for campus visitors

The Otaparkki multi-storey car park and other paid parking spaces on campus also offer parking for guests arriving on campus. The parking fee is the same for both Otaparkki and regular car parks outside, and Otaparkki also has several charging points for electric cars.

Otaparkki, a new multi-storey car park, opened its doors in January 2024 on Sähkömiehentie. It provides a practical and convenient parking solution for visitors to the campus. Otaparkki has plenty of space and is easy to navigate, making it smooth for casual visitors to find. The car park also offers electric car charging and bicycle parking.

Visitors have the option to park in other paid parking areas on the campus for the same price. The payment can be made through the Parkman and EasyPark apps at a rate of €1 per hour. Additionally, there is an option for longer-term parking at a rate of €45 per month. Paid parking is intended to cover the upkeep and management of parking spaces, and to distribute the expenses among those who use them.

Although parking for Aalto University staff on campus is free of charge, it is recommended that anyone driving and parking on campus should consult the "Driving and Parking on the Otaniemi Campus" webpage. The page provides comprehensive information on parking options, charging points and their pricing, as well as other current parking-related issues.
