Printed perovskite solar cells

Carbon-based perovskite solar cells were fabricated for the first time by infiltrating the perovskite precursor ink with inkjet printing.

Carbon-based perovskite solar cells were fabricated for the first time in room temperature environment employing inkjet infiltration of perovskite precursor ink. The fabricated perovskite solar cells exhibit impressive performance reproducibility with this automated method and show high stability when exposed to 35 °C for more than 1,000 hours. The work was done in collaboration between Aalto University's New Energy Technologies Group, Solaronix-Switzerland, and Laboratory of Photonics and Interfaces at EPFL, Switzerland. The results were recently published in Advanced Materials Technologies journal.The article can be downloaded from the following link:
