Printing services to be renewed
The implementation of a new printing system, Uniprint, will start in October 2024. The new printing system is provided by Ricoh. The current Canon printing system and devices will be phased out.
With the new Uniprint printing system, printer support services will be transferred to Unigrafia.
SecurePrint and mobile printing will continue to be available also in the future.

The current Canon printing system has been in use at Aalto University for eight years. Now, through a competitive bidding process, the printing service provider will change to Ricoh.
The replacement of printing equipment will begin in October. We will provide more detailed information on the progress of the printing renewal project as the installations proceed and after they are completed.
As a user, you do not need to take any action at this stage.
When the printing services have changed and the new printers are available, Unigrafia will offer comprehensive instructions for Aaltonians on how to use the new service.
