How can we collaborate to create something rdically creative that could fundamentally change how we operate? What kind of collaboration can lead into paradigm shifts?

Aalto LASER Talk afterwork event on June 7, 2023 is open to all, and discusses the topic of "Radical Collaboration" needed to address the current existential challenges. The three speakers will share their insights on fusing diverse talents and perspectives to achieve transformative collaboration.

Dr. Markus Schmidt from Biofaction KG (Austria) will talk about constructive disturbances of art in science. Artist and doctoral student Einat Amir from Aalto University will introduce a model for art-science collaboration, where the artist and scientist collaborate as equals, pushing the boundaries of their respective fields and creating projects that integrate both disciplines.

Dr. Ashish Mohite from Hyperion Robotics will present on utilizing concrete more efficiently to mitigate its environmental impact. We will reflect the presentations in a community discussion hosted by our moderator, associate professor Robin Gustafsson.

The event welcomes everyone interested in challenging conventions and advancing new ways of thinking and working, particularly relevant for doctoral students and alumni seeking to broaden their horizons.
