Scholarships open for application for studying, research and projects advancing women’s engineering studies

The Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering Student Services declares the following scholarship open for application:

Scholarships from the Combined Student Fund

One scholarships of EUR 1000 from the Combined Student Fund to academically successful students who are studying towards their master’s degree in technology and have completed their Bachelor of Science (Technology) degree in Aalto University.  Applicants should attach an official transcript of records to their application.

Applicants should apply via electronic form in the address by September 30th, 2020 at 23.59 hours. Applications received late will be ignored. The transcript of records should be in pdf-form and should be named as follows:

Lastname_Firstname_Transcript_of_records.pdf

Scholarships from the Kansallis-Osake-Pankki Fund

The School of Electrical Engineering Student Services declares the following scholarships open for application by teachers of Aalto University:

From the fund of Kansallis-Osake-Pankki, two scholarships of EUR 1000 for teachers of Aalto University in the field of technology, primarily for doctoral candidates in the field of technology, to support research work. The following documents must be attached to the application: a research plan, a list of the publications that will be included in the dissertation and a transcript of records that shows the grade point average of the applicant’s master’s degree and the grade of the master’s thesis.

Applications are submitted via an electronic form in latest on September 30th, 2020 at 23.59 hours. Applications received late will be ignored.

The attachments should be in pdf-form and be named as follows:

  • Lastname_Firstname_Research_plan.pdf
  • Lastname_Firstname_ List_of_publications.pdf
  • Lastname_Firstname_Transcript_of_records.pdf

Scholarships from the Marja-Terttu Tanttinen Fund

The School of Electrical Engineering Student Services declares the following scholarships open for application

From the Marja-Terttu Tanttinen Fund, two scholarships of 1000 Euros. These scholarships are open to individuals, teams and communities.

The scholarships are awarded for projects that advance women’s engineering studies or encourage women to engage in studies of engineering and technology.

Applications are submitted viaelectronic form . Supporting arguments motivating the application are to be recorded under Additional information. Applications should be submitted by September 30th, 2020, at 23:59 the latest. Applications received after that hour will be ignored.
