Student Sini-Pilvi Kiilunen wins 2nd place at Designers' Nest
Accomplished student designer, Sini-Pilvi Kiilunen from the Department of Design, was recognized for her talents at the annual Designer's Nest Award in Copenhagen. She received 2nd place with the judges noting: ‘This collection is marked by a high level of craftsmanship. In a fashion industry dominated by sportswear, it is refreshing to see modern suiting and interpretation of embellishment with recycled elements. It’s best described as 19th century male attire meets Morrissey.’
