The Coordination for Open Science and Research awards annual open science prices. The Open Science Influencer Award for 2025 was given to Anne Sunikka, the team leader of the Research Services' Open Science and ACRIS team.

The award criteria mentioned "Long-term and diverse promotion of open science at Aalto University, as well as constructive and active participation in expert and working groups for open science, especially in the areas of open data and organizational culture."

The award criteria also praised the open science and research data management webinar series organized by Aalto University, which is open to all. The lecturers of the webinar series include members of the open science and research network (data agents, Research Software Engineers, lawyers, as well as experts from ITS and the OSA team).

The program for the spring 2026 webinar series has been published: Training in Research Data Management and Open Science | Aalto University
