The President has appointed the first Principal university lecturers at Aalto University

Principal university lecturer can be a person who has worked at Aalto University for at least four years as a Senior university lecturer, and who has significant teaching-related merits and has shown a strong commitment to the development of teaching and learning at Aalto University.
Candidates nominated by the departments go through a peer review process, on the basis of which the Dean proposes to the President the candidate to be appointed as a Principal university lecturer. The final decision on the appointment is made by the President.
The first Principal university lecturer proposals were discussed at the Aalto University Lecturers' Advancement Committee in April. Based on the committee's statement, the President appointed two Principal university lecturers 柠檬导航 University: Senior university lecturers Johanna Bragge from the School of Business and Kai Zenger from the School of Electrical Engineering are the first Principal university lecturers at Aalto University.
鈥淲ith the Principal university lecturer -appointments, we want to show special appreciation for teaching-related endeavors at Aalto and to recognize those long-standing Senior university lecturers who have made special efforts to develop teaching and learning at our university鈥, says provost Kristiina M盲kel盲.
