Tuomas Rossi awarded Academy of Finland Postdoctoral Grant
Tuomas Rossi, a Marie Curie Fellow at Chalmers University, was awarded an Academy Postdoctoral Grant to work in the CEST group at the Department of Applied Physics.

Tuomas Rossi who is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in the Computational Materials Group at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, has been awarded an Academy Postdoctoral Grant. In the next three years, Tuomas will work on his project “PLASMOCAT- Plasmonic nanocatalysts for a sustainable future” with the goal of developing and combining first-principles and machine-learning methods to deepen atomic-scale understanding on plasmonic-catalytic processes. The ultimate aim is to achieve nanoscale design principles to facilitate recycling carbon dioxide for sustainable energy production. With this grant, Tuomas will join the CEST group at Aalto University to work with Patrick Rinke and the group.
Congratulations!
