“The School of Chemical Engineering educates professionals in the fields of sustainable use of natural resources and new materials, and therefore contributing to the continuation of teaching is important to UPM,” says Pirkko Harrela, Executive Vice President, Stakeholder Relations, UPM.

“We aim to arrange about 30 percent of our teaching at the campus complying with the special safety rules. We have prioritized first year students and laboratory courses are naturally at the heart of our operations. We are thankful for the support we have received from UPM. This mask contribution promotes safe study arrangements for our students for this autumn”, says Jouni Paltakari, the Vice Dean for education at the School of Chemical Engineering.
