Virpi Tuunainen and Tomas Falk appointed Associate Deans of the School of Business
News edited on 1 August 2023: The positions of the Associate Deans have been extended to continue until 31 December 2024.
President of Aalto University Ilkka Niemelä has appointed Professor Tomas Falk as Associate Dean of teaching and education of Aalto University School of Business. The position will start on 1 August 2020, with a period of office of three years.
Tomas Falk is Professor of Marketing at the School of Business. His research and teaching activities emphasize the role of technology in service management and include topics such as self-tracking and sharing platforms.
President Ilkka Niemelä has appointed Professor Virpi Tuunainen as Associate Dean of research and international cooperation of the School of Business. The position will start on 1 August 2020, with a period of office of three years.
VirpiTuunainen is Professor of information systems science at the Department of Information and Service Management of the School of Business. Her current research focuses on ICT enabled or enhanced services, digital platforms as well as digital innovation.
